You do. HappenBoard keeps everything in your own WordPress database. Events, venues and organizers are WordPress posts, and attendees and bookings sit in HappenBoard’s own tables next to them. No outside service is contacted until you switch one on, such as weather or maps.
You can take your data out at any time:
- Events as a CSV file, from HappenBoard → Settings → Tools.
- Attendees as CSV, JSON or vCard, and bookings as CSV, from their own screens.
- One person’s data, from WordPress’s Tools → Export Personal Data and Erase Personal Data.
Deleting the plugin keeps all your data, so reinstalling picks up where you left off. A full wipe only happens if you first add define( 'HAPPENBOARD_UNINSTALL', true ); to wp-config.php.
