Every email HappenBoard sends uses the same layout: a colored header band with your logo or site name, the message, and a footer. You set that look once, and it applies to all of them, from the sign-up confirmation to the booking emails.
Change the look of your emails
- Go to HappenBoard → Settings → Email.
- Scroll to the Email branding card and set the options below.
- Check the result in the Email preview card underneath.
- Click Save.

A wide, horizontal logo reads better than a tall one at 48 pixels. When you pick an image from the media library, HappenBoard uses its medium size to keep the email light.
Preview each email
The Email preview card shows a real email filled with sample content: a Jane Doe signed up to a sample event a week from now. It updates as you change the branding, before you save.
Use the menu at the top right of the card to switch between templates:
- the event emails: Confirmation, Off the waitlist, Reminder, Cancellation, Date changed and Date cancelled;
- six appointment booking emails, from Booking request received to Booking payment failed.
The subject line shows above the preview, so you can see how it reads in an inbox. Automatic emails explains when each event email is sent.
The preview sends nothing. To check a real delivery, sign yourself up through the RSVP form on a test event.
What you can and cannot change
You control the header and the footer. The message itself (the greeting, the event details, the buttons) is fixed; a developer can change it with the notification and email hooks.
The email is a 600-pixel card centered on a light grey background, built so that older email programs show it correctly. Each one also has a plain-text version for mail apps that do not show HTML; that version has no footer.

Save your changes
Save stores the whole Email screen at once: notifications, sender and branding. Nothing is kept until you click it. If you leave the screen with unsaved changes, HappenBoard asks you to confirm before discarding them.
