HappenBoard is a WordPress plugin that turns your site into an events calendar. You publish events the same way you publish posts, then display them anywhere with blocks.

- Repeat an event daily, weekly, monthly or yearly, and let HappenBoard generate every date of the series.
- Collect free sign-ups with a capacity limit, and send confirmation and reminder emails automatically.

- Publish an iCal feed so visitors can subscribe to your calendar in their own app.

How it fits into WordPress
HappenBoard stores events as a standard custom post type, exposes them through the REST API, and keeps its own data in clearly prefixed database tables. Nothing is hidden in a proprietary format, so your content stays portable.
The blocks are rendered on the server, which keeps event pages fast and readable by search engines. They work with any theme. If you use a block theme, HappenBoard also ships ready-made templates for the single event page and the events archive.
Free and Pro
Everything listed above is in the free plugin, including recurring events, sign-ups, appointment booking, the iCal feed and the migration tools.
HappenBoard Pro is a separate companion plugin. It adds per-date exceptions on a recurring series (skip, move or restore a single date), paid ticketing through Stripe, QR code check-in with PDF tickets, two-way sync with Google Calendar and Outlook, outbound webhooks, Slack and WhatsApp notifications, custom fields, and extra display blocks. Pro requires the free plugin to be installed and active.
